Rebranding RBMA: Elsevier Media
Since February 1st we have a new name: Elsevier Media.
Why Elsevier Media?
RBMA’s portfolio has been subject to significant change and has led to the current range of brands: Elsevier, Beleggers Belangen en Beurs.nl. Elsevier is by far the largest brand in the portfolio, has the biggest reach and the most spin-offs. It was therefore obvious to choose for Elsevier as leading media brand. Elsevier Media means clarity to the market of advertisers and media agencies and stands for a new era with new challenges.
New identity
We are very proud of our new corporate identity which is very different from our previous one. Not that the previous identity wasn’t good enough any longer but we have changed as an organization. And this new corporate identity is a translation of this change. As mentioned, the media brand Elsevier is the largest brand in the portfolio, hence the style of Elsevier is reflected in the new logo. The addition of “Media” is intentionally larger displayed because the portfolio contains of more brands in several types of media. The expanding tree symbolizes growth in a new and dynamic era. In addition, the logo symbolizes to the emergence of 3D and this reinforces the dynamics in the logo.
