Online media use continues to increase: on average, Europeans spend more than 10 hours a week online– this is about 20% of the total media use per consumer. The share for television is roughly 33%. Access to the Internet has also greatly increased with more than 95% of the Dutch population now online. About a half of this percentage has broadband, use of which can only increase in the future.
